So I noticed that one of my steering wheels spokes was blocking my view of the Gage's. I took the cover off, loosened the nut, pulled off the wheel, repositioned, put back the nut and cover back on.

A while later, the same thing, spoke is blocking the gauges.

Repeated the exact same thing, this time I really tightened the nut. Same result, it moved. Now I can't get the wheel off, I'd have to use a gear puller.

Any thoughts on the cause and a solution?

Thanks.

The cause is the design. You cannot change that. It's a hydralic floating system, there is no center. Took me awhile to get it. Put you a mark or piece of tape on one of the spokes, it will constantly change position while you're driveing.

That's sp-sp-sp-spooky.
Changes while driving? I can see powered off but while moving? no sir don't like it. I mean, what's the line between slippage and no control at all?

It is what is called hydrostatic steering. There is no direct mechanical linkage of the steering wheel to the front steering wheels. That being the case there is a small amount of internal oil leakage which gives you the steering wheel creep. Not a big deal.:)

I don't get it. Hydraulic or not, the system has to have a straight ahead spot, and it should be determined by the steering shaft and linkage, not the position of the wheel on it. I have a steering wheel knob on mine, and it is always in the same position for dead ahead. My dealer msaid the L3200 has "steering assist", the linkage still controls the position of the wheels, whether the engine is on or not. Jack up the front end and see if it steers with the engine off... I find this one really confusing.

To move the wheel back to the center on the bx2360 all you have to do is turn it against the stop in the direction you want it to go and hold it against until it moves as much as you need it to. An L3200 has a direct link to the steering with power assist so it would always be the same when you turn the wheels straight again.

Got mine fixed this week. No parts cost, just labor. I save all rubber seals from every kind of job I do. Found 2 o rings that fit good on the center devider and it steers good now. I did not remove all the sheet metal the manual says to remove. The hose's were just a little hard to get off, but by rocking the front axle, I was able to get the the hoses off.
