Guys,
I am in need of a good used head and rockershaft assembly for a L1501 743cc engine. I understand the parts are the same as those used by the L185 that is sold domestically as they both have the Z751 engine. (Please correct me if I am wrong!) Anyone know where I can find one? The domestic market guys won't even talk with me of course and most of the grey market parts guys won't guarantee that one they have will fit of be willing to take it back if it doesn't. Just can't afford to gamble that sort of money.

Thanks,
Scott

i just checked my bota and it does have a wistle on the end of the vent tube.
i can see why the thermo syphon consumes coolant. i rubed my finger
on the bottom of the whistle and came up with a drop of coolant. IMHO
if there are no cracks and the head gasket is good the only way to consume
coolant would be to dump it overboard. that wistle would only blow when
u have steam comeing out, not with the coolant rinning out, i would think.
it,s pretty tight for an overflow tank but i think i,m gona tackle it. me thinks
it would be cheaper than a new head. if a headlight is $300 , i hate to imagine what a new head is.hahaha
