Bought a BH65 backhoe for my B2620 so now i have more projects .

Started with a simple T frame but that does not allow the bottom of the boom to pivot down enough to unseat the bottom pins so had to add the vee section. Will update as i refine this..

I picked up a couple of the HF movers Dolly's, measured the footprint of my Hoe with the stiff legs up, attached a couple 2x4's to the Dolly's than put plywood on the 2x4's. Kinda a T or Y shape. Remember to strap the legs once there up, as they will come down in a couple days. The nice thing on wheels you can move it around the shop to keep it out of the way.

If you have a welder or know someone that does maybe you can make something similar to the one I made. Only thing I'd do different if doing again, I would get steel wheels, I think the rubber ones I used make pushing the cart around a little harder that steel ones would. And no, the BH isn't that shiny and clean anymore. That was right after I brought it home from the dealer.

I made my dolly out of wood, some 2X8 boards I had and used stove bolts to put them together and used 9-3" steel casters, 4 on the bucket support and 5 on the main body support. I used 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 Angle Iron I had. The overall length is 8' and the bucket support is 18" X 18" the main body support is 36" X 22" and attached to the Angle Iron by lag bolts. Still too heavy to move by hand, or I'm just a weakling, but I can push it with the bucket of the tractor.

well the picture posted this time ~sideways lol~

i will be adding a trailer coupler and a couple tabs to keep the bucket from sliding off the tube. Went with rubber wheels because my storage area has a gravel floor so i will either tow it out to the concrete or hook it to the tee handle trailer dolly.
Picking up a thumb from the K dealer today. BX exp. said they will have one coming out maybe next month with a hydro option but i'm impatient.

I'm out of state visiting kids. I can take some pics when I get back.
EDIT: It's North Idaho Wolfman magic! :p

Do you remember the size or weight capacity of the dollies? Does it roll pretty good?

Great Idea to add a trailer hitch to the dolly, I'll see if I can do something to mine, It's too heavy to move by hand, my BH92 must weigh about a ton.

They advertise 1,000 lbs per dolly, I use two on each, for the hoe and loader. They roll really easy on concrete. It's great for moving from side to side in the shop

Had to add a third pad to my backhoe dolly due to the hydraulics settling. Needed to add support for the pivot point, now all I have to do is put some sort of hitch on it so I can move it easier.
