Just finished fabricating a skid plate for my BX. My welding is a little rough but it improved during the project. Practice makes perfect. The link takes you to the pics.

looks mighty fine !!!

make sure that little beast can breathe! Might ought to get some slits for air in that.

Drill some holes - or take your grinder and cut some slits?

Yes thats on list. I'm leaving the sides by the filter and the transmission open for now. I think it will pull plenty of air from there.
