I have what I believe is a L2000DT with 8.3x22 tires.

One of the wheels has enough rust (perforation) that the bead looks like its going to let loose on over half of the wheel.
is it practical to repair this kind of corrosion?

Would wheels and tires from a L225DT (12.4x16) fit and be the correct ratio (for the 4x4)?

or are the 22" wheels readily available?

Thanks,
Mac

If you change the rear tires you will also have to change the front tires to make it work right.
Give us these dimensions:
Front tire size
Front rim bolt count, center hole size and center from stud to stud
Rear rim bolt count, center hole size and center from stud to stud

And maybe one of us can find the right combination.

You might be able to get a welder to patch it for you. Hard part will be to find a 22" donor rim with the same cross sectional profile. Some truck rims may fit the bill, don't know...:D

the fronts are 6.00-14.

after a little more searching it appears that:
8.3x22 tires are 37.5" diameter
12.4x16 tires are 37.6" diameter

ratio close enough?

6 lug wheels.
