Hey all, new to the orange brotherhood and think I'll need some expert advise.
Just picked up my first Kubota.1986 B5200, 4x4, FEL, 3 point mower, chains and a trailer to tote it around on. Has 500 hours and all works great except for the flashers. Just wondering where I should start trouble shooting and if I need to pull the dash off before I start......?I do have a copy of the wiring diagram.
Thanks

Sorry guys, I don't know abything about the flashers. Does sound strange though. Ok, I'll take a stab. Switch unit and or a flashing timer/relay if it has one.

Mostly saying welcome to R0ckl0bster for joining the forums.
Your post sounds like you got a hell of a deal with all that stuff and a trailer too

Not sure about the B5200, but I replaced the Kubota flasher unit on my friends B8200E with a $3 two terminal 552 flasher from NAPA. Beats paying $47.75 plus S&H for the Kubota FLASHER UNIT 35170-33700. By twisting the two terminals 45 degrees, you can plug it into the factory 4 terminal harness plug. So I didn't have to cut the factory wiring. Three wires White/Red- fused 12v from key switch , Black- ground which I didn't use, Red/Yellow- input lead to hazzard switch. Fourth spot is empty. Works like a charm.:D

Hope this helps Green Mountain Slim.

Thanks for all the helpful tips. After checking the bulbs I got to studying the wiring diagram. Found out the B5200 has a dedicated 5amp fuse for the flasher circuit. Turns out that was blown. Sorry for the false alarm about the service issue as I overlooked the obvious. Hey, I found the B5200 is prewired for a aux work lamp on the back so that will be my first addition...Thanks again everyone.
