Hi folks, I have access to a kubota fg 1800 48" plow with mount for $250.
Looking at the mount on the photo, it seems real close to the spacing of the arms on my FEL.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of standard for Kubota mounts or am I looking at too big a job. I suppose, worst case, I could mod it to clip onto the FEL bucket like a lot of folks are doing with ATV plows..

Thanks in advance for any info.
Rob

If you can run a cutting torch or plasma, and you can weld then yes it will work fine!;)

Well Wolfman, I followed your advice and after a few nights in the man cave, I got a nice little, quickly detached, motorized plow. I used an old junk water tank to widen the plow an extra 8" each side for a total of 61". Had to modify it a couple times, I attached the cables to close to the center at first, too much tension and it snapped when I hit a frozen chunk of ice. Plan B, I moved them towards the ends and added turnbuckles as seen in the last pics, worked great.

Now bring on the white stuff.

Total cost:
150$ for the plow
30$ welding supplies, cutting discs
23$ metal supplies
15$ "Magic Orange" spray paint
43$ 1500 lbs winch on sale at Canadian Tire
18$ Twelve pack of Alpine lager

Cheers from NB, Canada.
