Looking to buy late model Kubota with cab, partly for wife’s need for UV sun ray protection but can’t find info on Kubota cab factory window treatments that block UV rays. Do all late model Kubota cabs have a window coating that block UV rays? Thanks for your comments..

Uhmm. I looked on my glass for any markings, and found none. I suspect it’s straight tempered glass without any UV treatment. I have read about operators installing aftermarket solar film to their cab glass though.
Perhaps an email to Kubota would get a definitive answer.

If UV is a serious concern, you would do well to buy a broad-spectrum UV light to actually TEST anything you buy.

If I had a cab tractor, I would take it to my neighborhood Auto Trim Design store and have them put privacy tint on all the windows.

I had the windows tinted on my truck after I had it for about 5 years and wished I had done it at delivery.

I don't think Kubota does a UV inhibiting tint. Reason say that is I spend a ton of time in the cab in the summer running hay and I get a nice tan on my arms every year.

Pretty sure this will be your only option as I'm sure there is no uv protection on my glass.

My Ultra Cab II does have a light tint in the glass but again, don't think it's a UV inhibiting coating.

i have the same issue of being sun sensitive. i had a tint film put on all the glass before my tractor was delivered... it helps a lot. in hot climates the tinting usually helps the cab stay cooler.... (if your a/c works like it should).

If you go to have it tinted, look for someone that offers the ceramic coatings. It blocks almost all UV (99%) and you can get it from a clear to totally blacked out. We have all windows done on the wife's Accord with a clear tint on the windscreen. The car stays cooler, AC works less and no UV damage to yourself or internal plastic.

You can buy the rolls on Amazon and do it yourself. https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&k...qmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_8y88jptrue_e The cab of a tractor should be much easier than the interior of a sedan.

I will not own another vehicle without it.
