I have my rear axle out of my L2000DT and have ordered a new seal. Problem is the first seal I ordered was too small ID, so I ordered another one and it too was too small. I was using a superseded PN from an L225DT parts manual. I thought they were the same? The old seal looks ok but I don***8217;t want to go through this again anytime soon. Are they supposed to be the same? If not, does anyone have the seal PN for the L2000DT? Thanks

Bill,
The chart is wrong, the L255 is also not a US tractor it's also a grey, it's a L1-255, there was never an L255.

Some parts off of a L225 will work on it, but I believe, the rear axle assembly is different.

Jim,
I think this issue has come up in the past, and I'm not 100% sure but i think it turned out to be a L235 or L245 has the same seals.

Post a picture of the axle assembly and we might be able to tell you what will fit.

I wonder if you could not just go to a "bearing" place or industrial supply,
here in Colorado Springs we have Whistler Bearing and they almost always
can match up a seal of that nature?

I got several seal from them for my L1500 and other implements.

I'm sorry, but I need to see the tractor side of the axle too. ;)
