Estill Springs TN,
Are you going to leave the cylinders black or take them orange?

I'd also recommend, while you're at all this, fabricating a built on bucket safety bar so you can raise the bucket, engage the safety and it can't possibly lower. Not that you'll have to dig into the engine anytime soon, but they are nice to have when you are working on the motor or anything up front! :D
Ah yeah, the cylinders, hydraulic lines and mounting pins are going to be black. The loader control valve, bucket and shields will be orange since the shields have already been painted.

It's amazing how so many people can get invested in the rebuild of someone else's tractor.

I, for one, am mighty impressed. Keep up the good work. Just hurry it up. ;-)

Estill Springs TN,
Alright, I ordered new hydraulic hoses and some fittings. They sent me 3/8 hoses instead of the 1/4 inch lines I wanted. Sent the parts back and waited for the correct replacements to get here.

I received those lines today and now I have the correct parts. I've got everything set out and ready to go.

While I was waiting for parts I spent some time cleaning up the hydraulic cylinders. Only 2 are complete and mounted on the loader frame.

I also spent some time putting decals on the hood, fender and one side panel. I ordered the chrome Kubota emblem that mounts on the grille, $44 bucks ouch. The emblem that goes between the head lights was $66 and some change.

Figured you were spending time polishing that alternator.

I was going to say you were likely busy polishing your knob, but I thought the alternator sounded better...

Estill Springs TN,
Well, I had to get a new phone last week and unlike my old one this phone will not let me post pics from the gallery like I did before. Bummer as I've been trying to upload pics to my last post without success. I've tried changing every setting there is on this phone too.

I've just about given up on it and will probably just take a video when I'm all done and try to post it on YouTube instead.

Dangit!

You should have bought an iPhone 6! You know, one of those phones that just work without any hassles...

NOW how are we supposed to get our fix?

sigh...

Ahh the iPhone is not everything...
I couldn't agree more.

... My pictures end up being turned to landscape on this site
Now that actually isn't the iPhone's iPhault; the configuration of the vBulletin BBS system causes that. You need to remember to always turn your (iPhone/AndyPhone/WinPhone) sideways, or to crop the image so it's square or wider than tall. (Or a sneaky person might post them on MTF and link to them.)

Maybe if you held your phone in Landscape mode while uploading they'd come out right...

(Now THAT is funny - I posted in jest just to make folks smile. I then saw Shawn's post above about rotating the phone. Who'd ever have thunk it?)

once you download to your computer... open them. You will find most are not oriented right anyway Same for tablets. Nothing new and it won't change. It is a conflict with the way Tablets and phones have auto orienting software.

Best bet is to before you even write your post. Download pics you plan to use to your computer, Use a photo editor to turn them to the correct orientation then resave. Then write up your post and attach images.

Estill Springs TN,
Alright, here we go again. I've posted pics to my last reply on page 29 and I'll pick up where I left off there.

So this week I've managed to finish up the last 2 hydraulic cylinders and the loader control valve assembly. I'll have my dad paint the valve assembly this weekend.

I've also been working on cleaning up the steel lines that fasten to the loader frame, they are turning out better than I thought they would.

I'll catch up on posting pics as I go.
