Anyone here been to "Oak Island" ?

As in the title really guys, allways like to keep upto speed on these things,so wondered if anyone on here has visited Oak island and if so what were your impressions etc of it all.

After 13 weeks in Great Lakes NTC, our company was sent to PI for 8 more weeks of fun and games, before heading out to some other training at Brunswick Naval Air. Gawd I cant believe that was so freekin long ago, seems like just a distant bad dream,,,lol

Yes that is Oak Island in Nova Scotia close to where I live. There was a very elaborate system built to hide a great treasure. Legend has it that pirates, perhaps Kidd built it but no one has found anything yet. It is well named as a money pit because fourtunes have been spent trying to find this great treasure that most likely was removed centuries ago.
About every 10 or 20 years someone seems to come along that has the technology and the answer and a fortune to spend. All have failed.

The Discovery channel had a series on about the latest exploration of Oak Island, no I didn't watch it, but you might be able to find it on youtube

I saw several of those episodes and wondered if they every got very far with the quest. They sure seemed to find evidence during the season to back up the legend. RWR
