Thanks Ray, we had a Woolworths store in town and it was just as she described. There was every thing you wanted from clothes and drygood to a soda fountain toys and what not. But like all things, time changes and the store went out of business. When I was a lot older someone turned the first floor in to a bar, and the girls danced down stairs on stage and you could waste your money on them. I am not sure which way I liked better

Pretty much though ours didnt have an elevator, you had to walk down the steps for the rest of the store,,lol
