Hi, and welcome everyone at this forum!
I recently bought used B1750 (4wd bi turn) with 60" mower deck. Tractor has 1950hrs and by serial no 65416 assume manufactured in 1995?
I have noticed transmission oil leaking from area, where the front wheel drive shaft enters HST. I have reviewed the part list for this location but its seal location is not clear- if on the outside and could be replaced without separating the tractor? Picture is attached for reference. At a cover holding with 3 bolts and fluid seeps out where arrow is pointing at the joint of surfaces.

From other threads I understood that more typical leak location is drive shaft seal. Is this FWD shaft seal different?

Thanks for your input.

The seal for that monster is actually behind the HST unit, and I'm not sure if you can get to it without pulling the HST unit out of it. :(

Seal P/N 09500-20428

Hi,

Thanks for message. Looks like a bit more work in this project...:)
I suppose there will be a gasket between face of HST and gear box that also needs to be replaced? Anybody has an input what else should be replaced during this project.

Thanks .
