B6200 Radiator

B6200
I have a B6200 diesel w/ 4 wheel drive ... this B6200 is very old ... the cooling system has a percolator cooler and NOT a water pump. So I bought the front end of a newer B6200 motor and retrofitted the water pump onto my older system (all made necessary because I could not find a replacement radiator for the leaking percolator system).

Anyway, want to now put a coolant recovery tank on, so put on one from a motorcycle (fits well next to the battery), but when the rad cools, the coolant does not get sucked BACK into the rad. Think I need a special cap that allows this. Thoughts?

Yes you need a 2 way automotive style radiator cap on it in order for that to happen.
