I find it a real pain to pull the cotter pin (080) that holds the pin (060) for the check chain on the loader arm of the 3PT each time I want to connect the BH77 and to put the cotter pin back in when wanting to use the 3PT.

That are the rest of you doing, have you change to use something else instead of the cotter pins?

FWIW. I use Hairpin Cotter Pins with a key ring or loop to make it easier to get my finger in to pull them out. Or a pair of pliers with a large flat nose to insert or remove them.

I switched over to hairpins (with the handy key ring loop) as well but had one come out soon thereafter and I lost part of the assembly. I have since changed over to just a key ring loop through the hole of #060. Easy to remove with just bare fingers and fail proof.

I always just undo the turnbuckle completely and let the end attached to the tractor (#20) dangle down while the backhoe is on. Pretty easy to line up when putting an attachment back on.
