I made a loose fitting cover for my L3800 out of a retired 14’x48’ billboard sign.

Overall dimensions are about 11’x17’

The sign has a sleeve on each end. I slid a piece of pvc pipe in the sleeve and drilled two holes to attach bungee cords.

I added some grommets for the bungee cords.

Just unhook the bungees and the pvc pipe makes it easy to pull off. It also makes it easier to put on because it prevents the tarp from twisting.

I’m not worried about moisture accumulation. I’m more worried about the sun. I live in the rainiest city in the United States. You can’t get away from the humidity. And in case you were wondering, there’s a ole big plate of fried chicken on the other side.

Have a whole pallet of those, not a bad idea. Mine say 'Seagrams, feel the Velvet' with a swimsuit blonde on them. Just the ticket to put on outside outside. The folks around here would appreciate it...lol

Geo, even if one didn't enjoy country music...listening to that song while driving , you'd end up driving over the speed limit!
