I have a 2015 Kubota L3301 with 384 hours. The hydraulic filter keeps blowing out at the gasket after about 30 minutes of operation. It has been to the dealer twice in the last month. The 2nd time in, they said there was water in the hydraulic line and when heated caused the filter to blow out. They flushed it two or three times, ran it for an hour and told me that it was fine. Ran it for the first time since picking it up and after about 30 minutes, it blew out again. They are coming to pick it up tomorrow to work on it again. Has anyone had this same problem, and if so, what is the repair that needs to take place. Thank you.

HST, the filter is the one under the left foot plate.
If a dealer looked at it then I would think that a double gasket problem would be unheard of .....but then again worth a look.;)

Possible bypass valve not working?

What were you doing on the tractor at the time when it blew the filter?

Some possibilities:

Something is restricting the fluid circuit in the HST, which is causing the filter to be blown out.

Filter "double gasketed". Unfortunately, it happens even with the pro's. None of us are perfect, no not one.

Look at your cooler lines. If one's kinked or otherwise restricted, there could be an issue.

Filter gasket mating surface not flat? Debris getting between the gasket and case? Have seen that a few times on bigger L's and more commonly on the M's since the filters are right where dirt sits, under the cabin toward the rear, and people don't clean that area before changing the filters.

Not installed tight enough, as an attempt to make them easy to get off?

Aside from that...going to have to go a little deeper. Relief, etc. Need pressure readings for that stuff.

I had similar problem with B8200HST. I finally found that the relief valve in the block valve was not functional. This caused the fluid in the pipe from the FEL and the normal charging line to the 3pt controller to overwhelm/pressurize the hydraulic filter.

Keep an eye on dates, the last poster pulled up an old thread, so reply to him not the OP. ;)
