STANWOOD
It stalls out after 20 min under any kind of load, even going up a hill.
Replaced fuel filters, air filter, oil filter, oil.
Put in CLEAR-DIESEL FUEL & TANK CLEANER
added half a tank of new fresh fuel.
I can start it and it will idle perfectly forever.
If started when cold it works great for about 20 min.
Any idea what it is? Fuel pump?
HELP??? Thanks

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. I'm not familiar with all the Kubota models so I can only make general suggestions.

Do you have adequate flow out of the tank and through to the injector pump or to the common rail if that's what you have? There maybe a blockage at the tank out let that limits duel delivery. Remove the fuel hose at the filter inlet, remove the fuel cap and blow compressed air and see if that clears the tank out let. Make sure the filter head is not partially clogged. If you have a fuel boost pump then make sure it working.

Stanwood? My neck of the woods. I know where you bought it most likely, We own land right off 6 mile down by the river. Robinson Equipment or the dealer on 46.

Sounds to me like you have some blockage in the tank pickup or possibly a failing fuel pump. Those are cheap and easy to replace. Stanwood sand gets in everything....lol

Since you have replaced the filter, I suggest you disconnect the filter output line and check for flow.

Either pump is going bad or their is a restriction in the fuel system.

On that model, It's most likely a failing fuel pump. :(

my guess - not fuel pump...
restriction at tank....
gonna bet the fuel gauge has rusted a bit, that "crap" falls down to
bottom of tank, gets near the tank outlet.

Pull hose off tank or filter or pump
loosen cap
check for a "good" constant flow...
show have a good smooth flow - allow to run a bit.
ANY change at all? if so - you found your problem.

EVEN with a bad pump, a 1/2 full tank has enough gravity on flat ground to make it run.

check this out and report back;)

You are probably right.
Does that model have 2 fuel filters?
I've heard of some models where they were only ever changing one filter and having issues.

I had a tractor with a steel fuel tank and it had rust flakes coming off on the inside. I simply tied a magnet to a piece of baling twine and dropped it into the tank and went fishing! After a while I just left the magnet on the bottom with the string coming out at the cap. I'd check it once in a while, but never removed or did any other cleaning in the fuel tank. Tractor then ran fine!

There are 2 fuel filters on the BX25.
1 is under the deck, inline with the fuel pump.

The other filter is on left side of engine. Just above the oil filter.

From Messicks FAQ:

I am finding three BX25 variations, how do I know what I have?

BX25 first made 2008-2012

BX25D first made in 2013

BX25D-1 first madehttp://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=338774 2015

The BX25 brake pedal was on right hand side, the BX25D and BX25D-1 is on the left hand side.

The new BX25D-1 seat reclines and has arm rests where the BX25D does not.

A second look at the parts diagram shows what is called a BAND filter.

The WSM also shows a second filter. NIW was correct some time ago :)
