Ok guys, got a little hick up today. Changed the tranny fluid to udt on my l1501 (l175) Previous owner used universal tractor fluid. Over filled it majorly. Took almost 10 gallons out:rolleyes: guess i know why it slung oil out the shifter boot when the pto was engaged. So after filling it, and giving it a test run i noticed a slight grinding when shifting into gear from a stop. Didn't matter which one. So here's the question :D

Is it a pedal adjustment? Or a clutch plate adjustment?

I have about an inch of travel before the clutch engages.

Thanks for any advise:)

The only adjustment on that one is the pedal, only the 2 stage clutches are adjustable. ;)

Thanks buddy :D i never claimed to be a transmission guy . I do see what ya'll are talking about with the udt. 5 minutes running it around the yard and it's shifting a lot nicer.
