I was woking clearing a lot of brush and small trees and had a small log roll off the bucket and damaged the hood and one headlight on my 3901.
Has anyone filed a claim to get something like this replaced? How was Ohio indemnity to deal with?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

When I was out doing the same thing a few years back and a limb busted the front grill, I bought a new grill and replaced it myself.

Out of curiosity .... has anyone had experience dealing with Kubota Insurance? What was the experience like?

I have dealt with them 2 times. Very easy to deal with and no hassle. No rate increases for accidents in my case. I have used them for 10 years now.

You'll be filing a claim or robbing your savings account as the upper bonnet (hood) is an expensive item. Headlights are cheap, tin isn't At least you didn't get hurt.

Just bought a used M9 open station with loader from a dealer and the previous owner did just what you did and I need to (thought about) replacing the hood until I price at at Coleman Kubota. How about 770 bucks for just the upper tin?

I think this winter when it's parked, I'll pull the hood off, take it to a body shop and have a bodyman fix it and repaint it. Got to be cheaper than 770 clams.

Of the 10 Kubota's I've owned, never insured any of them through Kubota. I have a farm policy so they go on that.

Here's how KTAC insurance works....

You call KTAC, start the claim. Drop tractor off at your dealer. They call you back and you go pick up your tractor.

It is honestly that simple and that seamless.

You're lucky you didn't kill yourself when that log rolled off. That's dangerous stuff right there and unfortunately 2 years ago I had the opportunity to do a claim for an owner who had a very similar situation....and he was not nearly as fortunate. Be careful, and use some common sense.

Had a similar situation last fall. Had a large crease on my B2650. I was going to replace the bonnet myself until my local Kubota dealer priced it at $1600. That was just parts. Filed a claim with KTAC and and all was well a few weeks later. Process went very smooth. I will say that it did take about 3 weeks for them to get the parts.

I've never had to file a claim with KTAC but for the price it seems like a good deal. I think it only cost me about 600 bucks a year for the machine we got last July which cost around 45000 if I remember correctly.

Being retired and on a fixed income... KTI gives me a sense of relief from what could be a major cost if anything would happen...

Last year when I purchased my new B2601 the salesman tried to sell me Kubota Insurance. I thought that it was somewhat overpriced. I then checked with my insurance agent and was told that my new baby was covered under my homeowners policy without any change in the policy.

That was a way for me to save some cash and still have it insured.

The selling point for me was it's insured regardless if I'm using it for my small side business, traveling, or I am using it off my property. My homeowners would only cover my tractor for non commercial work and only on my home's property.
