Mid mount mowers

I can't help, but it's a darn good question. Wouldn't it be nice if there was some sort of standardization, at least within the brand? I know of one manufacturer where decks would interchange between many models over a 30 year period. They did it right the first time, and didn't have to keep changing it. Now everything is specialized, far more expensive, and less useful.

Standardization,,, yea like back when Chevy had the same eng bolt pattern all the way from a 6 cylinder to a big block 454. Those were the days!!!
