Met this guy last week who had a huge shop with all kinds of equipment. Here's what he does for relaxation. (I think he's a non-conformist)

Len,

You shoulda got a picture of his plasma cutter! Those look like they were all cut out using an X-Y plasma cutter. Did he have one or does he go have the pieces cut? Great use for scrap steel.

Man, those things are fun. And there's tons of projects you can download online to make stuff up. The software allows sizing them to whatever you want.

I explained to him what a Piranha tooth bar was and how it was shaped. Asked him if he could cut one out and put a 60 deg. angle on the cut. He was sure he could cut it, just didn't think he could cut the angle. He had a table about the size of a queen size bed.

He did all the work himself.

Next time I go over there, I'll get some better pictures and of more items.

Here in Phoenix, Industrial Metals now has a big cutter set up and running. We are looking into getting our address cut in steel and added to our driveway marker.

The stuff you can do with those things is awesome. I had a building nameplate cut almost twenty years ago and its still looking awesome where I installed it.
