One tip for taking the FEL off, raise the front end of the tractor up a few inches with the bucket and then take the pins out. The lower it back down and then disconnect the hydraulic lines. They slide out very easily that way.

Oh and ALWAYS release all of the pressure in the lines before disconnecting. I forgot that once and it was a real PITA to get them back on.

Bought mine last Saturday used from a neighbor who is moving away and doesn't need it on the small lot he's moving to. Got the BX23, loader, grader blade (3 point), trencher, bagger (which I don't need and is for sale), 3 point ball hitch adapter, and tow bar. Already worked on the gravel drive, took down (ok, pushed down) a dead cedar, pushed said dead cedar to the burning pile and then lifted it
onto the pile with the bucket, parked an 18" trailer, and pulled a load of 12 railroad ties uphill to where they were going to be unloaded. The little bugger never breaks a sweat.:D
