Hello. I just bought a used 2011 bx2360. It came with a loader a mid mount 60" mower and a 50" snow blower. I know that no service was done the last 2-3 years. Before that it was routine. 2 years ago it had mid pto seal and bearing replaced. The mowing deck is abused hard and he bent the shaft for the blower that hooks to the pto. It's starts runs drives like new though. Aside from oil and filter changer what should I look at to make sure everything is in good working order? It had 350 hours. Was a pretty good deal ( I assume , I hope!) I paid 8500 for the complete package. The mowing deck has a crack a bent corner and a missing wheel.

I would change ALLLL the fluids and filters.......grease the hell out of it, and then start to piece it back together again like Humpy Dumpty! Put all the pieces back together again! Those spindles will take a great deal of grease too on the MMM. You can get another PTO shaft, or possibly "fix" the old one too. Make a list of all the boo-boo's the PO made and fix each one;):)

85 has nailed it,, the BX is a pretty tuff machine, but a man can brake anything being stupid,, The crack in the deck can be welded, the bracket for the wheel can be welded back on,, this seems to be a common problem with the deck when it is being run on the wheels,, no it is not suppose to be run on the wheels they are anti scalp wheel.
Im not sure how the duce you would bend a shaft for the snowblower:confused: But I would check it over really good like the gear box and shafts,,
And I wouldnt say you got a bad deal,, Just like 85 said make a list and check it twice and in no time you will have a fine machine.
You came to the right place for info,, OHHHHH AFROE I FURGOT, pictured we love our tractor porn,, and it helps when your asking a question about your little beasty

Consider installing a larger fuel filter, at least the rear one.

A eastern Canadian member has a video on how to do it in a video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcQUgl8rNIg

Skip most of the hour video and watch the part for that change.

I just did the change and found the filter he used is not made now, but a replacement is available

15521-43160 for about $38 at Messics. AT the bleeder opening use a rubber washer.

Here are some shots of m,y change. The bracket is supported by a lower existing bolt plus a hold-down via a screw in a drilled and tapped hole in frame.

My copper washer at the vent plug leaked. Had to use a rubber "O" ring.

I assume you ran the fuel line from the tank to the new filter housing then back to the rear (of the tractor) to connect to the fuel pump? How much additional feet of hose does that route require?

What size fuel line is it 3/8" or something metric like 10mm)? Or does it matter?

I bought 7 feet of hose. Had about one foot left over. I took along a regular dinky filter as usually used to size it. Looking for that now, no can find.

The bracket was made from 3/16" stuff. The Canadian used 1/4" I think.

I made sure the location of the mounting holes didn't cause the problem he had.

I might have put the guard horizontal part up above the mounting bolt there. The bowl holding ring comes down OK and bowl may only need a little clearance, but needs checking.

Spare filter elements are only a few bucks each.

As to length of hose, I already had a shut-off valve installed between the tank and first filter, so you may want to insert a small pipe between old hose and new hose to avoid having to get way back to the tank. I left that valve there. That was with "pipes" of size to fit the hoses. Same as for Honda engines.
