ok summer is slowly coming and I got a delima I can maybe act on now. So should I mix match parts and how or rebuild engine orrr?

. running L225 with D1101 engine. Needs clutch work (8fwd 2Rev gears). NOT 4wd with woods belly mower.
. non running L235 with D1102 engine. 4wd (16 fwd & Rv gears)

So do I pull D1101 and put it in the L235 (supposedly swaps in if you switch oil pans). Hydraulic system may need replumbed to match rest of tractor??

Or.... do I swap L235 axel to L225..

then again should I swap from L235 front axle AND tranny and put in L225

With either above then sell all parts not used (cept maybe wheels since one is Ag and other is Lawn and having both sets is an advantage?)

or do I rebuild L 235 engine and paint up clean up L225 and sell her whole

what is ya'lls thoughts? Maximizing money I get might could back is a thought I entertain strongly. work would be carried out by myself and friend. Another consideration is I eventually want a FEL. Not sure which one is hardest to find/Fabricate a FEL for

Get a motor. ;)
is that based on kubota Purist reasons or issues of mix match reasons? Getting a D1102 motor appears to be not an option. Would require rebuilding present one or going with a 1302. 1402 maybe? cost of any of this looks to be around 1000 to 2000
