JUST took delivery of my L2501DT with Loaded R4's and FEL with forks and bucket on QD, 4wd gear drive.

Upcoming mods include ROPS LED's front and rear. Bucket Hooks, Rear accessory plug for Chainsaw sharpening on my Carry-All, and maybe a few other things I see here on OTT.

I think you will be very happy with the tractor, I have a L3901DT and I keep finding thing that I can do with it. The pallet fork were one of my best buys since I have had the tractor.

I notice that there is a hood emblem on your L2501, did you add that or is that factory? There isn't one on my L3901.

And you started out your posting on the right foot, always need picture :)

Thanks, I already love this machine. The hood emblem is factory. Might switch it out with a stolen Mercedes emblem, LOL just kidding.

Took the Atobuk (Kubota backwards, What my wife calls the new tractor, Pronounced AutoBuck) have been working on a Carry-All for a while so I got to take it out to work on a new fence. Working about 3/4 of a mile away forth house and barn, so the carry-all is handier than pockets on a shirt. Load up everything i might need and go and not make a dozen trips back and forth.

The sides are hinged and fold in for carrying longer items. Open up and lock for loading things like tools and fire wood. PVC pipe for holding Shovels and rakes and tools of mass destruction, Byte Tyte Chainsaw scabbards on each side keep saws VERY secure and blades protected.

The base of the Carry-All is the CountyLine Carry-All from Tractor Supply and I picked up a scrap Uhaul 2" receiver hitch and welded it to the frame. Then I built the wood frame and then stained it with an old time 50/50 mixture of Diesel fuel and used motor oil. This is the ultimate wood preservative. Before anybody goes postal on environmental crap, I am using waste motor oil instead of dumping it and IT WONT HURT the environment. Farmers have been using this recipe for decades to preserve their fences and They last FOREVER and don't poison the soil. Bugs hate it and is repels water, which leads to rot. Gonna eventually get a quick hitch so this is easier to hook up.

Received the Quick Hitch yesterday and was able to get it installed VERY easily. Got the Northertool Quick Hitch

Couple of minor adjustments to the top hook, as well as some chiseling out of the wood that is behind the top link pin on the carry-all, and she works like a charm.

Also got the rear bonnet off without any problem, thanks to some tips from here at OTT. I was able to tap the nut on the steering wheel and she came free without a fight.

Found two welded nuts on the crossmember of the steering mount that were not being used so I plan to mount the relays for my ROPS light bars there.

Looking at mounting the fuse block in this area. Wont work exactly there cuz it interferes with the rear bonnet. Move it down a bit i guess.I might just use an inline water tight fuse holder and zip tie to the factory harness.

Drilled and tapped into the ROPS. holes degreased after tapping and primed and painted before screwed. Wire harness, I am putting a Packard waterproof 3 contact plug right at the ROPs pivot, in the outside chance it need to be removed I can separate the wires and not have to do a complete re-intall.

Very nice work on your carry all. Really nice design with alot of really good features and ideas. Well done. Light bars and mounting look great also.

I think that about covers it. I do need to rethink the switches. I just need to find a switch the same or later diameter, so make a good choice BEFORE you drill holes for them. The Monitor and the RAM mount are held on by Stainless Steel screws. The mounting location of the fuse block is actually lower than in the picture. When it was there it interfered with the console and I needed to move it lower about 3/4".
