I can help, there was a change at SN 20,000 in the design of the shaft from the engine to top pulley. is your tractor above or below SN 20K? Above 20K and you must remove the entire front PTO to get the shaft off. Not as hard as it sounds. Below 20K and I think you can take the shaft off at the crank and slide shaft forward enough to slip a belt thru. Let us know and I can give more detail. Jeff

The HST used a center PTO to drive the MMM. The gear versions used a front splined shaft to drive a double pulley which drove a lower shaft back to the MMM.

sundaymunday, you are in luck I currently have my B7200E tore down exposing the upper shaft. I will take a few pictures and explore how to do this from the bottom. Will try to post them later tonight. Jeff

Do take a look at the Kubota parts pages offered as a link in a previous post. Will make sense when you see the pictures. Jeff

Not sure how much this will help. My setup does not match the Kubota parts list exactly. Looks like a combination of before and after SN 20,000. If I disconnect either end of the splined shaft I have room to pass the belt thru. If you have < SN 20,000 then I don't think you can reach the bolts that hold the splined stub shaft to the crank. My second picture is from the underside and in the foreground is the grease nipple for the front axle pivot. In the back ground is the front joint which you may be able to reach. It only took 20 minutes to remove all the parts to reach the shaft from the top. I think this is the only way to reach the grease nipple on the front bearing housing and grease the splined shaft. Otherwise it is under the battery.
