I have a B3000HSDC and would like to change out my lower arms to longer ones.

I've dug around on Messick's and wasn't able to find anything that would identify my options.

My local dealer wasn't any help in identifying my options either.

Does anyone know if Kubota makes arms that are longer than the stock ones that come with the tractor? If so how would I identify what would work on my tractor.

Anyone have experience with a non OEM solution?

Your tractor is rated to lift x amount with those lift arms on the tractor. Changing to longer lift arms will reduce your lifting capacity, and the manufacturer doesn't plan for that. So, there isn't designed, optional, longer lift arms.
So, the way to accomplish it would be to find arms with the same size sockets, and with holes in the same place, for the vertical lift rods. You also would need to look at the mounting holes for the turnbuckle stabilizers, so that would fit properly.

There isn't a chart or anything to determine what will work- you will have to measure and compare.

TSC or similar farm stores usually have generic replacements for 8N/Ford-Ferguson & the like for around $60 each. They'll be a lot longer than what you have and would likely need a hole drilled for your lift link. As noted, it's going to reduce the lift capacity, may even make it way light in the front, possibly to the point of not safe.

If you lengthen the lower arms you will also have to get a longer top link. If you tell us what it is that you are trying to accomplish we can help you better.

Why do you want that?
I have an older tiller that won't mount on the existing arms because the unit is into the rear tires. I don't know why Kubota has such a short arm.

I have an Allis Chalmers 5020 compact tractor that has lower arms that are nearly 10" longer than the lower arms on my Kubota. I can use the tiller on the Allis but can't use it on the Kubota.

I've even put a Quick Hitch on the Kubota which gives me about 4"+ additional length but it is still to short. It appears to me that my only solution to be able to use this tiller on my Kubota is find a longer arm.

Weight isn't going to be a problem for the tractor. I have an FEL on the front and have weights for the front of the tractor. The tiller is under 600# and even with extended arms my tractor shouldn't have any problem to lift that weight.

I also have multiple top links to mate up with longer lower arms.

How much additional length do you need?? A Pat's Quick Hitch will add around 3" to the length.
He said he has already added the Quick hitch which adds 4". ;)

Something either on the tiller or the Tractor does not sound right.

I'm wondering if it has a set of BX arms on it?

The OP is asking for longer arm possibilities, this B3000 HSDCC or what ever it's called "appears" to have longer arms, so I guess he can chase that up and see if they are longer and if he can purchase them? At least they are around the same series and may be a bolt on fit, you never know till you ask the question?

Ford 8n worked on my L245dt. Pain to keep changing. Now use tiller on bigger tractor doing food plots. No low range on that tractor. Suppose Kubota used short arms to run up the lift capacity.

I have got the optional adjustable lower arms 9Shown by 100td) on my tractor but the tiller has kind of a front shield or covering that extends out in front of the tiller and the connection point for the lower arm is close to 6 inches behind the shield.

Hope you can see what I am talking about with the picture.

On the Allis it doesn't hit the tires but I can't mount it on the Kubota because the lower arms are too short to provide working clearance.

It would be much cheaper and easier to extend the mount forward on the tiller! ;)
