Oh man like 53 today light west breeze, I was picking stuff up after the little wind we had,, its a wonder we are still on the ridge top,lol And ofcourse its going to get back down inthe to low 30s (f) and teens at night for the next week or so starting sunday, Other wise I saw the sun come up so all in all not a bad day

Lol, you one crazy bugger mate!!:D Looks like it's gonna be a little longer for us yet but like you said, as long as we're around to bitch about it its all good.

Outlaws: Green Grass and High Tides...

1976, Champaign Illinois. Doobies concert. Sixth row center... The warm-up band who I have never heard of walks out and the vocalist says, "Hi yall! Were the Outlaws and we are gonna play you some rock and roll!"

--45 minutes later, they wrap with this song and walk off stage. My buddy and I are sitting there with our hair blown back, stunned at what we just witnessed. Speechless, I stand up and my friend reminds me the Doobies are next. Oh yeah. I sit back down. What a total mind blower of a set. I had no idea who these guys were. Afterwards, I couldn't get to a record store fast enough to get their album. Brilliant stuff. Brilliant indeed.

One day I would like to go to the Isle of Man, you will never see a Harley there I dont think, but there is something about a motor pushing 12 or 13 grand doing 170mph and climbing.

That race has always amazed me. (are those guys aliens, using alien technology in their bikes?)
I've been near that fast on a bike, (150-160mph) but only on a flat, straight, long, controlled environment race track. I cannot imagine going that fast on regular roads, even if I had the equipment (balls) to try it.

The house of Mercy has the feel of old time mountain Scotch/Irish influence heard down in the Appalachian part, but with a bit more modern tempo and rhythm. Good stuff !
