I have BX that I will be renting either a Frontier 1149 of Land Pride 1550 tiller to do some work this up coming weekend. The rental outfit wants to know the length of PTP shaft needed. I don***8217;t know since I***8217;ve never hooked up a tiller to the tractor before. Can anyone help me with this?

You should probably take the tractor to them, put tiller on and measure it for the correct length

It needs six inch overlap at longest and to be short enough so it doesn’t bottom out at shortest position

You really want this correct or you can damage your tractor

The only measurement you could take would be from the pto, straight back to the end of the 3 point arms.
