Hi guys,

We're buying a tractor in Huntington Vermont and have chosen to work with Champlain Valley Equipment in Middlebury.

We negotiated a L2501HST with loaded ag tires, a LA525 loader, and QH10 quick hitch for $19,000. We were also quoted $2,052 for a Land Pride RTA1258 rototiller.

Is this a fair deal?

About one year ago, I got a L2501/HST/4WD/FEL with RCR1260 and BB1260 with loaded industrial tires for I think it was 21,900 or 21k otd.

Since I have added a QH15 and built a carry all using a TSC carry all frame.
This is in Northeast TN, price. Also added some bucket hooks clevis a piranha toothbar etc..you will want those..but those are tinkering cost.

Just started doing research on good prices for an L2501 package, I was just quoted 22501.00 for an L2501HST with 60"FEL and a 60" land pride brush cutter, almost 25K with tax

I was quoted $22.8 out the door for a the L2501 HST, loader w/ HD bucket and quick attach and the lower end Land Pride FDR1672 finisher.

I went back wanting forks, quick hitch, ballast filled tires, cruise control, and 72" blade and my price is now at $25k out the door.
