Hi there,

Quite a number of questions that I could use some help with:

1) What model of tiller is pictured in the following images?
2) What bolt diameter and thread would replace the shear pin/bolt, or is there a standard Kubota part # that would correspond to the missing pin?
3) Any hints on where to access replacement tines in Western Canada.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

White Horse Distribution in Winnipeg. There is also a guy in AB that sells grey market Kubotas but I forget what his outfit is called.

Thanks for that. Is the Alberta outfit "Service Dept Vic". If so, there has been no response to my emails for the past couple years.

I've sent emails to MTS, still waiting on a resposne. I'm sure it will come through soon.

Thank you for your help.

Anyone else have feedback?

No, its a chap who imports and sells grey market Kubotas but I forget what his company is called and I can't seem to find the website again. He is very knowledgeable on Kubotas in general, I spent probably 25 mins on the phone with him once, great service!

Possibly have located tines in the Southern USA. Long ways to go, but the only option at the moment.

Any information out there on the shear pin specs for the main shaft? No luck on that one quite yet.

Last time I used a rototiller that sheared the pin I just used a low grade bolt that fit. Might have been 5/16 iirc.

Wouldn't the threads and sizing be metric? Is it threaded on the inside?

Managed to find tines from White Horse Distribution out of Winnipeg. Didn't know the specs on the bolt unfortunately. So of I go to purchase one of everything......

Your's may be different but all the ones I've seen are not threaded. Just put a low grade bolt thru the hole and a nut on the back side

There sound not be any threads in the shear bolt hole.
And it does not matter if it's metric or not, just find a bolt that fits the hole, start with a grade 2 and if that sears too easy goo to a grade 5.
