So my RC72 deck wheels on my belly mower are getting worn down rather much. I called my Kubota dealer and they want $117.00 EACH! Does anyone have an alternate source for these little overpriced wheels? $468.00 is absurd!!

Very fortuitous timing as I'm giving thought to sprucing up the wheels on my 54" MMM. Now that I see those prices I'm thinking they'll get another season or two of use prior to replacement! :)

FWIW, if it's just the hubs that are worn, somewhere there was a thread about drilling out the axle hole & installing a piece of PVC pipe or a bronze bushing.
Possible cheap alternative.

Try ASC. I get my deck wheels for my M60 Tank from them. Cheap. Get my blades there too. I tend to drill out my deck wheels and install bronze bushings in them with grease fittings.

Kubota is pretty proud of some parts it seems like.

I get my zd deck wheels on eBay for about $10 each. I believe the last set were made by Oregon, which are better than the Kubota gauge wheels.

On edit, I checked the OP deck type and realized that the wheels in question ride on the ground. Totally different than my gauge wheels.

Since someone else already opened the door, I will add some information that I learned 20 years ago with my BX22 mower deck. Bore out the center of the wheels and install steel bushings into the wheels, and then drill the bolts that hold the wheels onto the deck brackets to accept grease fittings and lubricate the wheels in the center between the 2 outer bushings. Once I had these wheels done, I never needed another set of plastic wheels. I did learn later on that I should have used a better glue to hold the bushings inside of the plastic wheels because some of the bushings came loose.
