Mower deck removal

Got the mower deck off of the BX1870. Getting the drive line off of the pto took a little work. I don’t think the original owners had ever removed the deck. Greased it up after I finally got it apart and now slides on and off easily.
The underside of the deck looked very good.
Once I got the pto squared away I don’t think the mower deck will be any harder to handle than the one off my little John Deere LX277 lawn tractor.
Learning lots and the more I learn the better I am liking the little Kubota.

That's a nice little machine. I have the 60" mid-mower on my B2920 and it can be a pain to install or remove. It is supposed to be a drive-over deck, but the effort to lower all the wheels to the lowest setting is more than just dragging it under the belly so that's what I do. Attaching the driveshaft and front support can be a pain. Not a lot of room. But I've gotten good at it by now. I've busted two of the four deck wheel metal mounts off and re-welded them back on. The spindles seem to be good quality; never replaced them yet.
