For those folks who would like to improve the shifting on their pre-xt model RTV's the best way is to replace the reverse high pressure relief valve with the one from a XT model. The part number of the valve is K750114900. This will reduce the pressure on deceleration reducing the "dynamic" braking and it also has a small orifice in it to bleed off the hydraulic pressure which helps shifting . You CAN reduce the pressure setting of the existing valve which will help with the shifting and reduce the braking but it is not as good as the new valve. This is not an approved Kubota fix by the way! If you do want to adjust the original valve I've found 3 turns to be the magic number
