At the recommendation of BMello, i made the 27 mile drive to Harrisonville and they had a B3350 they wanted to deal on, was only a $1000 more than they wanted for b2650's around here.

FEL, MMM 60 inch, Land Pride box scraper, and Land Pide rear blade, and quick attach bucket (don't know if that's standard).

I was good with the 2650, but I am delighted to get the other 7hp with the 3350, according to the kubota site , I received more than 20% of list! An awesome deal relative to my other negotiations..

Thanks for putting up with my questions and my flip flopping...

Andrew and the folks at Hartzlers will take real good care of you. I'm really impressed with how they take care of folk.

Next trip in tell them I recommended them. Maybe I'll get a hat!

Nice! You won't be disappointed with your Land Pride implements either.

Been doing a lot of reading and now rethinking the 3350. I may back-out of this one. After reading the 3350 issues with the DPF I am beginning to get worried. If I am forking out 30k for the 3350 cab and attachments I shouldn't be this concerned.

Piper,

I am thinking the problems were solved with a recall. If you get a new one, you should have no problems from here on out. Sheepfarmer has DPF and she hasn't had a problem except for the recall hassle of hauling her machine in to the dealer (in yucky nasty dirty-salty road grime conditions).

Actually for the recall they came to me, and did it in my barn! It finally went in for its 50 hr last week though. It is true that I have had no trouble with dpf and the recalls for the L3301, 3901, and the --60 series like mine didn't have anything directly to do with the dpf and regeneration, but rather another feature of smog control, some parts in exhaust gas recycling system which could gather moisture and freeze in cold weather.

The B3350 has a different kind of engine, and has needed something another poster described as "reprogramming for regeneration". So I am less certain as to its current status. I think I would really have to trust and like the dealer's expertise before I would get a 3350 without gathering more information. There is at least one happy 3350 owner on the forum that has had his for some time now, and the folks who had theirs recalled haven't written back so hopefully all is well.

Thanks for chiming in Sheep farmer. I talked with the dealer earlier. Didn't really help his case. But hit me at almost 28k for the 2650 cab, 60" mower, loader, remotes, and loaded tires. Really pushed the 3350 and came in at $30,044 for same options on the 3350. So that is only 2k more for the 2650. I am just gonna negotiate more on the 2650. I am looking at paying $25,640 which is just over 15% off the list price. Wish me luck.

Good luck, I have 10 hours on my 3350 and it's awesome, the piles of dirt and rock moved are impressive, and it mows my grass!

Hi Sheepfarmer. Do you have a technical service bulletin # for this issue? I just got an L4060 about 4 weeks ago. I don't know if this is something that would have been already taken care of on my tractor but I want to ask my dealer, thanks.

I don't have the number, but when the tech showed it to me I wrote down Closed Crankcase Vent, 60 series, serial numbers between 30,000 and 40,700. It was a Mandatory Campaign that came out in early Dec 2014. The dealer should be able to find it on his computer.

This thread has a picture of the new parts in place and one of the key differences was the new breather tubes are wrapped with aluminum foil covered insulation, so you can look to see if yours look like that. Left hand side of engine.

You definitely want to double check this given you live in Maine. There was a shortage of the recall kits earlier, and your dealer might have forgotten.
