Looking for 50hp Engine

I'm looking to get a replacement motor for my Bobcat 825.
The motor that is currently in it, is from a Volkswagen Rabbit...
Needless to say, it doesn't work the way it should, so I'm on the hunt for something better.

D2Cat, You've been there and done that! :D

I did that with my 743, but it's a little easier going from a kubota to a kubota.

The original Perkins engine in that model is pretty pricey to rebuild or replace with same

I think that's why this guy put a VW motor in it. He was saying that it was way too much money to put another Perkins in it.
It's just awkward operating a skid steer with the VW motor in it, because you always need to be adjusting the throttle....

Yep rip it out and put a Kubota V2203 in it and you'll have a usable machine! :D
