I was looking at a 04 BX 23 compact tractor with Bucket and Backhoe
300 hrs on it. Is this a good machine for personal use snow clearing and
landscaping, digging up stumps spreading stone etc. It has Turf tires is
my only beef if that makes a differance. Just want to make sure its
the right unit for my application. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bill
BX23 should be good for your application. It is an amazingly stout little performer! Most of the one's we sell now are equipped with R2 tires but the turf tires are better for your lawn. ( they are generally better in snow too)
If you use it in places where sticks or other debris could impact the bottom of the tractor consider either installing Kubota's HST fan shield or make one of your own. that fan is a bit of a b@#ch to change so you don't want to break it!
