I have a L4300 that is leaking hydraulic fluid. It appears to be coming from the driver's side below the engine where a still tube from the rear of the tractor makes a 90 degree sweeping turn into the side of the block/pan. It also appears that this tube is pressed into the block/pan as there are no bolts or connectors. I am guessing it either has threads inside the pan, or it is just pressed together.

How do I stop the leak?

Thanks,
Rodney

I think your going to need to give us a picture of what your talking about.
I've sent you an email on how to send me a picture to post for you. ;)

Okay, did a little more inspection. There is a fluid port or control valve of some sort directly in front of the hydraulic fluid filter. There is a short (approximately 6 inch) metal tube that runs from this directly into the side of the tractor. It appears to have a white rubber like substance around each end of this tube. The fluid is leaking from the tractor end of this tube.

It appears I have go remove this control valve, and disconnect the brake linkage, to access these seals. Is that correct?

That's the hydraulic outlet block.
That's a return line.
It's sealed with 2 O-rings P/N 04816-00110

And FYI: In your first post you said drivers (left) side, all of the hydraulics are on the passenger (right) side. ;)
