I was reading about Antelope Valley and how the county was driving people that lived in the desert out of their homes,,, What was the deal with that?

If you look at the region on Google maps satellite view, it looks like miles of solar panels.

The story of life: You find a "home", somewhere you want to live long term, then "they" change the rules. Over the last 20 years my property tax has gone from $1200 to $3000 and the majority of that increase has been in the last 2 years and believe me the amenities have not improved. Sure land values have increased but we did not buy our land to flip, we bought it to live on, no homestead exemption in Wyoming. Same thing happened in Jackson, the joke was that the Billionaires chased out the Millionaires.
