Hello all.... I have purchased a kubota original equipment block heater to install on my tractor. It is equipped with a D750 3cyl engine. as per the directions it is to be bolted in somewhere basically under the intake, forward on the block.

My question is, does anyone have a photo of location, or of the installed position of the heater? All I have seen is a line drawing from the opposite side of the block and an arrow pointer as to position. So... HELP!

thanks, Kytim

I have to ask where you were able to get a block heater. I had to install an inline heater in the coolant system as the two dealers I contacted said that the part was no longer available for the B7100.

I don't think the "in-block" heater was available for the early B61/7100's, I know that it was for available for the HST versions under part #70000-82500.

The element installs "hooked downward" at the 6 o'clock position in the opening. If the instructions you have indicate which frost plug to punch out, follow it. It will have something to do with the depth of the water jacket at that location.
Service Dept Vic, this Kubota B7100 Block Heater with OEM Part # 70090-02842 is listed here:

This is something different than part #70000-82500 for HST versions, but will it work for B7100DT manual gear tractors?
