My pto spins freely and doesn’t engage. I’ve taken too plate off to look for broken parts and do not see any. Being new to this type of troubleshooting I figured to go to the rear of pto and check the shaft. Well, yes I drained ALL fluid right there on my concrete. Haha lesson the hard way. At any rate I did not find any metal shavings or pieces anywhere and everything looks to me to be in good shape. What am I missing here guys? There is an electric switch of some sort at the lever, but I figured it is a mechanical system and not electric and figured this was just for indicator light. Anyone have any ideas that I can try to find the problem?

Neither one of which was made in 2008. I can't think of a tractor that had 2600 on it in 2008? Maybe an L2800?
