I want to change the front tire size from 27x8.50x15 to 27x10.50x15 would I need to change to a wider rim, would the extra width be to much stress on the front end? The ground I'm working on is a little wet the extra floatasion would be helpful.
Thanks, Maxl

I plan to do the same when mine need replacing. I looked up the part numbers of the wheels [27x8.5]for the basic L series and the 27x10.5s are stock on a TLB 35 if I remember right and the wheels had the same part numbers from what I found.

Not at all, however - I would check the rolling circumference, but based on the other poster, seems it is offered on the HOE model so that will not be a problem;)

I agree - no harm to the machine by adding a little width. But I would also check overall diameter of the old and new tires. If they are different, using 4x4 forces the fronts to slip and puts a lot of stress on the drivetrain.

I did a little checking into this and it appears the rolling circumference of a 27x8.50-15 is 79" and the diameter is 26.6" and the rolling circumference of a 27x10.50-15 is 79.5" and the diameter is 26.9". Not sure if this is enough to cause harm or not. I suspect if there's a fair amount wear on the rears it would compound the problem. These are all measurements from BKT Skid Power HD Skid Steer Tires.

I would look at the bkt website for tire specs if you are interested in the rolling circumfrence, I have noticed that the specs for bkt tires on the petes tire store website don't match what the bkt website has.
