l295dt steering box interchange

Howdy all- newbie poster here and soon to be owner of a l295dt that needs a steering box or a rebuild kit. Since I may have to get a used unit does anyone know what other models will interchange, or does it have to be from a l295dt? Any suggestions on where to get steering parts for this model? I'm new to the Kubota world so any advice is greatly appreciated.-Scott

I am also a newbie on here and have virtually the same question.
I recently ordered new parts for a L245 rebuild kit believing that since the box was supposed to be the same as the L295DT all new parts should work (in theory) well, everything I have been told and have read is WRONG! nothing fits, the only consistency is overall steering shaft length.

So, my question to you before I go further with modifying this thing is, Can you still get any internal parts to rebuild this steering box? What I need is (bottom section of replaceable steering shaft, the worm gear part. Ball nut with tubes and balls. Bearings. oil seals and gaskets) that is all I really need to make it live again.

I appreciate any assistance you or anyone else can give me.
