Does anyone know if there is a common problem or weak areas in the 4wd of an L295dt. The lever works, the drive shaft moves but front wheels do not engage. Also can the front diff/axle be removed without removing the radiator etc. It looks like there is enough room to move the diff forward and remove without taking off the front of the tractor. Thanks

The front diveshaft is a male spline. the stub on the front differential is a male spline. They are connected by a 2 inch female spline. Possibly stripped.

Hi stepdoctor, did you ever resolve your issues with the 4wd not working?
