I have a B6100 I need to attach a hydraulic pump to the front PTO which is connected to the crankshaft via a shaft/crank pulley adapter.

Looking for correct part number shaft/crank pulley adapter/electric PTO. These parts ARE supposed to be available from Kubota as I am told but no one can answer the shaft size question so far.

I have this B9310 complete assembly
70090-00104; CLUTCH ASSY
66704-88530 1 FLANGE, PTO ( Front PTO)
66704-88540 1 SHAFT, PTO (Front PTO) Is where my problem is

Just bought and received a 9310 shaft assembly for my 6100 off ebay. It looks like the B9310 I purchased has a larger spline diameter than my crankshaft is. This unit I bought has the complete hub assembly bearing, the electric clutch and a 27 mm by 22 spline shaft sleeve. My 6100 needed a 18 mm instead of the 27 mm.

:(Wish I had the micrometer earlier.:( But maybe one of you has a need for 27mm x 22 spline when I find the right answer

Anybody know what the 27 mm fits? IS the 66704-88540 1 SHAFT, PTO (Front PTO) the smaller 18mm size? Help appreciated OTT

Vic, It still appears to be 22 spline. Morton had some info I looked at on the "b7100 pto impossible to find" link and this question is for the 6100 tractor. Live wire from TBN and I made all the connections and measurements between out tractors and found the 27 mm fits a Kubota B7100 and the 18 mm fits the B6100. He now has the Shaft for the B7100 that he has been searching for - for a couple years. Are these sites not great to help get the right parts found and meet the right people?

Smokinhart here. I see there are references to what I was doing for a front hub on the 6100 again and I thought I'd post my solution. I used an Ecoloc compression hub and a 26 mm collar to lock it on. Had my machinist design a hub shaft to extend the shaft through to the drive hub up front. Maybe a little confusing with that run together but check out this site and head out from there.

I think I'd considering a flexible shaft coupling somewhere in the assembly, similar to the OEM solution with a LoveJoy coupling. I'd be concerned that any amount of shaft misalignment will absolutuely destroy the spline connonction on the shafts. If your wondering about it, you might be able to cut out a small section on the shafts and have some keys milled in the shafts to allow the Lovejoys to bite in. Not sure if the B6100 was the same as the B6000 I've got? It would be my first concern on this front PTO make sure I didn't wind up with premature shaft failures on this setup. Other people may like to make use of any techniques you've got if you've got a solution to set and inspect the shafting alignment?

Hi all, I just found this forum.

I have a clutch for sale on ebay right now. It is model number B9310 and came off of a B7100D. It will fit the 6100 series too. I have had it since new, but only used it for 4 hours. It came with a belly mower, but I sold it and got a rear finish mower.

It is in very good condition, works perfect.

It has a female 18mm by 22 spline end.

The link to the ebay sale is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120737947493

Pictures are on the auction.

Thank you

Graham

This is an old post but I have new info on the PTO clutch. We broke our clutch and needed a new one. They no longer list the clutch. We found the manufacture of the clutch for Kubota. They built me up one and sent it.

Clutch number for a kubota B6000E with a belly mount mower, like at wood 304 K mower. Pitts number 1142621

Am happy I can get a discontinued part for the tractor and not have to buy a rear pto finish mower for the tractor to mow grass.

That's nice to know, Logan. Thanks for adding the source info.

Did you note that the OP had an issue with the front PTO shaft, not the mid one? I think it's still difficult to find sources for the front coupling.
