Daren and the Mrs. were on their way through our area the other day.

They were gracious enough to make a detour into the "sticks," and my Mrs. and I had dinner with them!

Daren is as nice in person as he is on OTT, and his wife is a treat too! :D

Great time and great folks; my wife and I truly enjoyed it!:)

Next time he's in my 'hood, I should have him teach me how to weld better....

I've meet quite a few members on here, and I've yet to meet one that wasn't great. We do have a really great group! :D

I don't think they say the same about me...but I can't blame them! :p

I don't hear great things about you, either....

Just poking fun, of course!

RCW, thanks again for the guided tour of the classic car museum and dinner. We enjoyed both very much :D

We got home a little after noon today to two very excited shepherd's. We left Niagara Falls around 11:00 am yesterday. Stopped just west of Nashville last night around midnight. Back up at 6:30 this morning and finished our trip home.

FYI, for those interested in visiting Niagara Falls. Do it in the summer time :D Preferably on a 90 degree day :D It was snowing yesterday morning pretty good. We were able to get most of the way up the walkway down in the gorge, so add in the water spray and it was pretty nippy

Daren - glad to hear you got back okay. You said it was snowing pretty good along the way.

We've seen the Falls both summer and winter. Summer is better!:)

They're saying 5-8" near Buffalo Monday. Good timing!

Weather Channel was in Fayetteville, Arkansas this morning for the football game with LSU. It was 16 degrees. We were 28 WAY up north!

As far as the Northeast Classic Car Museum, feel free to post any/all pictures you want. We consider it free advertising. Maybe some of the guys here would enjoy them. I hope you guys enjoyed your time there!

Pleasure to see you guys!:)

Here's some eyes candy. There were a couple cars that really surprised me. This first one was an original electric car.

This really sweet vet surprised me. The reason was it had the optional fuel injection upgrade. I didn't realize that they had invented and offered fuel injection in that era.

This one blew my wife's and my minds :D It's technically a 4 wheeled motorcycle. The belt drive on either side of the buggy really caught our attention.

These have around the same horsepower as my L1501 :D And less then my zero turn mower. Oops, added one in there that wasn't from that era

Thanks for the great pics Daren!

That last motorcycle took my breath away. Proof again that, "If it looks good, it rides good."

LOL!!! (It looks like a Russian agricultural device...)

Daren's "oops" photo with the older cars has been my favorite car at the museum for years. I think I said that to him at the time.

It's a 1931 Packard Roadster. I love the cream/maroon colors, the car's shape, dual spares... it's just a beautiful car.

The little door in front of the back wheel is a cabinet to put golf clubs in. Has a real "trunk" for a trunk.

I love muscle cars and grew up with them, but that car just trickles my fancy.

I'm fortunate enough to be a volunteer Board member there for almost 20 years. Currently Board president for the second time, terms 10 years apart.

The first two motorcycles are special. 1930 Henderson and 1914 Emblem 4-seater.
The Emblem did go cross-country with a whole family in the 19-teen's. There are two seats over the back tire where kids would sit, facing to the side.

The Henderson is purported to be quite valuable, and you will never see another one . A real Art-Deco piece of art.

It reminded me of a snow mobile with tires instead of skis and a track.

It does look like that!
I don’t remember the story with that one.
