B2650 R4 Wheel Weights options?

Just took delivery of B2650HSDC

I would like to some weight to the rear tires without going the liquid route as I perceived that would make for stiff ride, losing the bounce the air filled tires provide.

Please correct my thinking if it’s wrong.

Haven’t had any luck finding a wheel weight option online. Those such a thing even exist?

Rear ballast box is not an option as I have a backhoe on the tractor and would like the extra weight (wheel weights) on the tractor full time as I switch through rear implements.

The weighted tires still have air in them, and while true - there is not as much air, there is still a small amount of "cushion"

you are looking at about 21 gallons per tire, or close to 150 per tire or 300 pounds total.

you will notice the difference if you fill them.The bounce is not really a good thing, if you know what I mean

Say back when, when I had a smaller Kubota, I fabbed up brackets mounted to the wheel studs and mounted Olympic Weight plates to the wheels, 200 pounds each side and could have added more. They are availaibe used on Craig's list and at pawn shops too. Nice cast iron round weights.

Has anyone sourced "beet Juice" for the DIY'er?

Bill, Great info in that thread. Thank you.

I currently have everything in storage or out of state while I design and build a house and don;t have my welder.
I will be building similar brackets as in that thread letter down the road.

In GA, I would just put water in them or windshield washer fluid. Doubtful that you would ever have your wheels freeze solid like around here. Much cheaper and easier to obtain.

I had originally asked to not have the tires filled when I purchased my B2650. When I picked her up they were filled anyway out of habit per the manager. Didn't cost me anything and I figured I would just empty them if I didn't like the ride feel. They are still filled. The ride feel is excellent, can't really tell a difference in ride comfort other than she is less bouncy (the annoying type of bounce) and is more stable especially with fel work.
It's not a harsh ride at all like I imagined it would be, and it doesn't cause rutting in the yard like I thought it might. Filled turf tires = win win.

Well. Seems I***8217;ll be adding WWF for now. RimGuard got back to me again and they can***8217;t ship the amount I need out right now. (Said, they***8217;re getting ready to ship in 50gallon buckets soon)

In my research I still have one question with the DIY liquid fill.

Do you put in the same valve stem or have to change the valve stem to something else?
