Hello All,
I have see references around this website/forum about magnetic 1500 watt heaters that you stick onto the oil pan of your tractor and use that cold weather block heater. The largest I can find is 300 watts, can someone send me a link to one of these 1500 watters?
Thanks,
Adam.

I'm seeing the same thing you are finding.
If you think about it, 1500 Watts is about the same as a burner on an electric stove. Would you really want to leave that "on" under a pan of oil?

I've seem some higher Wattage "frost-plug" heaters. There, there is no fire hazard, and the circulation of the water would spread the heat around.

Totally get what you're saying, but magnetic heaters that I have found have had a thermostat control.

I too have a block heater. I set it up on a digital timer that I got at lowes. Works great, I have it go on every morning In time for me to clear the drive before work. Also goes on just before I get home. It really heats the entire engine even in below zero temps.
