I'm looking to set up my L1500DT with a FEL and rear remotes for a log splitter. My understanding is that some simple plumbing is needed to make it happen.

A couple of threads are helpful (like here and here), and certainly Vic's video (here), but not quite complete for this DIYer.

I'm looking for a simple tutorial of sorts for making it happen. Essentially I want a joy-stick controlled loader and rear remotes sufficient to run a splitter.

According to Vic's video, for the FEL, I can tap into high pressure line. But for the rear remote(s), would I do the same? If so, can I interrupt the line once and return to it for both FEL and rear remote(s)?

A couple of secondary questions, then, are (1) should I add extra remotes while I'm at it? and (2) should I replace any of the o-rings/bushing around the current 3-point control valve, rockshaft housing, etc. where it looks like small amounts of oil are collecting dirt around seals?
